CCTV DRAIN INSPECTION

WHAT IS THE COMMON CAUSE OF A BLOCKED DRAIN?

Natural debris such as trees, shrubs, and leaves commonly block drains. However, they’re not the only culprits. Roots from trees are notorious for growing under and inside drains, searching for water. The roots can gain access to your water systems through pipe joints or any cracks, and this can lead to a blockage.

To stop natural debris from clogging your drains, we recommend you keep your outdoor area clear of any fallen leaves or shrubs. We also recommend you keep your trees well-watered so they are less likely to seek out your drains as a source of moisture.

A blocked drain can also be caused by toiletries being flushed, a build-up of hair, heavy rain and storm water, or even a broken pipe. Whatever the reason, it’s best not to assume anything until you’ve had a professional perform a proper inspection and give expert advice. Once we have identified your problem we can then Once we have a diagnosis, we cut out and remove the blockage. If required, we can also use high-pressure hydro flushing to dislodge any blockage and then vacuum up the debris.
